The bookes that started this all begin with City of. So what makes this TV show good or well nice? Unlike movies where we are only allowed about 200 pages worth of our favorite books television shows can be as long as they need to be. So of course the television shows can give us the full details of the book.
So here's the next question does it?
I'm going to try not to spoil this show, but if you are nervous of spoilers then please leave now.

Ok, so if you have stayed you probably have seen the shows and want to just know whether or not I enjoyed it. Or maybe you've seen the first episode and feel confused and want to know if the show follows the books at all. So is this a good TV series?
Well, yes...and no. The TV series was started after the movie franchise failed. So how did this all begin? Well they had tried to start making movies for the books and they only made one. The first movie had to cut out and remove the majority of the book. But how they did it blew my mind and I loved it! But was bummed because they did almost zero advertising and thus the movie flopped.
So in order for the franchise to well, survive, they had to take a chance with something else. So they did television. Freeform formally known as ABC Family took this project on. So how did it do? Well they will be doing a second season.
So it has to be amazing then right?
The good points of it is the fact that it follows the book a bit closer then the movie. You get to see your favorite characters whom you loved fall in love and kiss. And the portrayal of the characters and their growth is just as well done and amazing.
The series helps you feel the tension as you panic over choices the characters make and the worry of the characters. There is so much that hurts because you wish to yell at the characters. But that alone doesn't really save it.
So what is bad about it?
Well it doesn't follow the books...yeah it follows the smallest amount but it doesn't follow the majority of the books. So does that bother me? YES! Look, I can forgive movies because they only get 200 pages of books but television shows, come on! They have lots of episodes and can do the entire book no problem.
So does this make it not worth watching?
No, you maybe like me screaming at it when they don't follow the story but you'll squeal over the parts you love! Television shows help us bookworms to get more from our favorite books. But we still have to be aware of the fact that books will never be followed exactly.
So final opinions.
Freeform please keep making these shows! They are great, I do hope that the closer we get to the final book City of Heavenly Fire in this show the more like the books they will become. But this show helps to bring to life the characters you fell in love with in the books.
With that said I hope you give the shows a chance.
(I know I said I would review the company BookByYou but I have been enjoying the show and just wanted to share my review of it. I promise that BookByYou will be next! Also I will be doing a review of some monthly subscription boxes I've wanted for a long time.)

Star Crossed Myth Review (Spoilers)
Star Crossed Myth is an App game that you can buy on any mobile device. It is a game that is a story where you get to make choices for the main character that leads to a different romance for each character you can choose. Star Crossed Myth, or as I'll abbreviate it as SCM, is made by a Japanese company called Voltage Inc. And yes this means these games are dating sims.
But they are also like mangas in a video style form. Now I have three other games made by Voltage Inc that I'll review later. And trust me I'm only scratching the surface with these few. Voltage Inc does make American or Western styled games as well with the drawings being more similar to our comic drawings. But either choice the stories are really well done.
So back to SCM, in this game there are two prologues you can choose from. The first prologue has six characters you can choose from at this moment. In the first prologue the story goes that you an employee working at a planetarium make a wish for the skies to be clear for an event your work is holding. When suddenly a ball of light hurtles towards you. Once the light disappears you are greeted by six men. Leon (Leo), Scorpio (Scorpio), Teorus (Taurus), Dui (Gemini), Huedhaut (Aquarius), and Ichthys (Pisces).
You discover they are all Gods who have sinned and thus punished to reside on the earth until they can erase their mark of sin. And they were sent to you a goddess from your past life, and you're not just any goddes you're soul is the goddess who gave her life to save the earth and was the one who decides fate. You have no clue about your past life or anything on how to remove the Gods sins. But in the end you go to your works event after the meeting with the Gods, assuming it was just a dream.
Once you get to work the Gods show up, they make the event even more exciting but a small boy gets too close to the edge of the building and falls over. You grab him and pull him to safety but the momentum causes you to fall over the edge. You then can choose who you want to rescue you.
Now before I get into Prologue two I'm gonna tell you a small bit of the character I chose. Or well the two characters I chose from the first prologue. Huedhaut was the first character I chose because of his introduction. Heudhaut when he first meets you sees the stars in your eyes, a reminder of your past life. They way he reacted really piqued my curiosity in why he was so torn about the stars in the main characters eyes. So I choose his story, and it was so good and well written. Not only was the lead up into the actual romance realistic but the reveal of the main characters past life was even more amazing and beautiful. The story also pulls at your heart strings with the pain Heaudhaut suffered in your past life and more.
Now the second character I chose was Ichthys, he is the most mischevious and playful character in the whole game. He always pulls pranks and his story seemed like it would be fun and adventerous. And it was, but it was also very sorrowful and serious. Despite him being a God he is mortal and not immortal. So he knows that he will die and in order to keep the main character from hurting he tries to end it in a more serious way. But there is no way that could happen despite his death being so close.
Now I'm not going to get too far into their stories because well the game is worth the purchase. And if I'm saying that then it very much is worth it since I rarely spend money on things that don't make me smile and feel good. So let's go onto the second prologue.
Now I was silly and started with the second prologue because of the character Zyglavis. So in the second prologue you can choose, Karno (Cancer), Zyglavis (Libra), Partheno (Virgo), Krioff (Aries), Tauxolouve (Sagitarrius), Aigonorus (Capricorn).
Now in the second prologue you have helped the previous Gods remove their sins but you didn't romance any of them. While going from your home to the store you are confronted by two minions of the under realm kings or dark king. You're rescued by Zyglavis and Karno in time, and then are taking back to the mansion where they explain that your soul is what the dark king is after. Your soul apparently can fully free him from his prison and so they have been instructed to protect you.
So when I made the choice for Zyglavis I didn't know he was the God of Libra, and Libra is my sign. I was a little giggly after choosing him but he was very strict and very much the God of the scales of justice. But his story was so well done.
He is stiff and serious but in the story you learn of his softer side and you find out some interesting things including why he punishes but why he does it to better people. Now sadly for now they only have two stories avaliable for the second prologue. The other characters story I want to do is Tauxolouves story, so as soon as that comes out I'll put it up here.
So final thoughts.
Is the price of the game worth the experience and tale?
HECK YES! It is about 4 USD for the bigger episode stories and then 2 USD for the smaller episodes. But the stories and the way the characters are built up is really well done. Also the pictures you get at certain points you are allowed to download and keep forever.
Is it a good game?
Depends on what a game is for you. For me a game can be anything from stealth and shooting to a story led game where I just make choices and nothing else. But some people really need more to their games and this won't be their cup of tea. They do provide free episodes for you to test and see if you would like it.
Is it a good story?
YES! The stories are so well done. Each character is so unique and they all have a secret that is fun to learn and explore. The way they are protrayed is realistic in the sense of it ever happening. The romance is also very believable with things building slowly.
Would I buy it again?
Yes, Voltage Inc and those who worked on this clearly care about the customers and giving them a good story and fun game. It is also a chance for me to give more to people who make these sorts of games. When I really like something I am more willing to give more in order to show them I support what they are doing for us the consumers. I don't regret buying this game it is worth every penny and I can't wait for the other characters stories to come out soon.
So if you enjoyed what you read and think this game would be good for you too then go buy it. I promise this game is more of an interactive book but those are always fun and enjoyable. I know many people will enjoy this game.
(Hey guys hope you enjoyed this review. Next week for our review I will be reviewing a book company called BookByYou. I have three books from them and will love sharing my reasons why buying one of these great books is worth it. See you next time!)

Mass Effect (Spoilers)
Commander Shepard. The hero of the galaxy.
Mass Effect is a Sci-fi RPG videogame made by Bioware in the year of 2007. This game was going to be a new and interesting twist on the whole franchise. Now mind you I may seem very biased in my opinions of the game but I will state the drawbacks.
Now before we begin this will include spoilers. So please be aware of that. If you have never played the game then I'm shocked but let's get into it.

Mass Effect begins with us being able to design our own Shepard. You can choose a male or female shepard and make their face as close to yours as you'd like. Or you can make them very ugly. You then can choose from different classes, my favorite is the Engineer class. You then are given a screen of words to read about the history of earth and the discovery of the mass effect relays.
From there it shifts to Shepard staring out a window and you hear three voices, Anderson, Udina, and Hackett. You learn that you are being considered for a special assignment. You are greeted with an assignment to a human colony and the first alien race you meet is a turian.
Upon arriving you recieve a transmition that confuses the whole crew. Then you go on a mission and find out a dark dark secret, dealing with a turian who is a specter. The dark secret is the geth have joined forces with a race called Reapers. You then have to prove to the council on the citadel that the turian named Saren is guilty. After doing so you can then end up with three new crew members or only one new crew member. So the one you get no matter what is Tali Zorah she is a Qurian, she has the needed imformation to show Sarens guilt.
The other two members you can either get or skip is Garrus Vakarian who is a turian and Wrex Urdnot who is a krogan. Now I always recruit them but you don't have to. You can skip on having them on your team which is interesting. So once you get them on your crew you are given three different missions. It doesn't matter entirely which mission you take on first but I always start by getting Liara.
Liara T'soni is an asari who is a scientist studying about the ancient race Protheans.
After you have everyone it is interesting, each character is given their own personality. Tali is a spunky excited character, Garrus is a more serious but willing to learn character, Wrex is a more wise and rough character, Liara is a more nervous and shy character. Then you have the two human crew members Kaiden and Ashley, now I'm not a huge fan of either of them. Ashley is a big racisit and she goes out of her way to in sure her families name doesn't get anymore smeared. Kaiden is a coward who is kind but just doesn't know how to be honest.
Anyways, after you complete the second mission the council will contact you about new information they have. Now you don't have to finish anymore missions after this. You can head straight for that final mission but I found it's good to finish all three. So once you finish them all you head off to a planet where a STG group for the Salarians is stationed. On this planet they are cloning krogans to serve the Reapers.
If you took Wrex with you then you are presented with a difficult task of convincing him to destroy the base. If you didn't finish all the missions then you won't be able to convince him and be left with having to kill him. But if you did them all you'll be able to convince him to help. After that you go and destory the base. But before the bomb can go off you are given another tough choice. Kaiden or Ashley, you are made to have to decide who will be left behind in the blast.
After that you then return to the citadel where they ground the Normandy and you're taken off the mission. You know about the plan Saren has and you know you have to leave in order to stop him. Anderson offers help and you have two choices. Now the first choice I never choose is Anderson gunning down a bunch of people. But the second choice deals with him knocking out Udina and overwriting his command.
I always go with the second you then are able to stop Saren. You rush to the planet he is on and learn even more about the Protheans. Once you're able to find him he has arrived at the citadel you then have to follow after him.once on the citadel you learn of the war and see the Reaper attacking. You then go and save the day. Yup that's it.
But what did I think of it.
Mass Effect is a beautifully well written game. The story is fantastic and keeps you in it's grasp the whole time. But the game play can feel a bit unfair. Some enemies you don't see until the are on top of you. The romances are also kind of stiff and you can only romance the two human crew members or the only alien Liara, an asari who is just literally another female.
When I first played the game I kind of got a crush on Garrus. He was a fascinating and well written. Plus the choice in voice actors was fantastic. But of course Garrus was not a romance option.
So how did I play the game?
I played the paragon path. I chose for my Shepards back story that she had no parents and grew up on earth, but that she was a war hero. Did I end up romancing anyone?
Yes, surprisingly I was romancing Kaiden and had no clue. Since I see no races I left Ashley behind and then before I knew it Kaiden approached my Shepard.
So final opinion. If you ever wanted a great game then you need to buy this game. The story is great in depth and has an amazing end. The characters are all unique and fun and they really fulfill this idea of aliens. Buy this game for sure don't rent this game. It is one that will stay a classic.

Vegan Eating (spoilers)
So I decided that eating innocent little animals was immorally wrong and that I have to do a review on the best vegan foods. And why if you eat meat you're a horrible human being, and deserve to be burned and eaten by the innocent animals in this world. So let's begin!
My favorite cheese is the vegan almond cheese. It is much healthier for you since it's made from pulverized nuts, which tastes better for us scorned women. The nuts are creamy and smooth with a slight crunchy texture.
My favorite milk is coconut milk. The coconuts juice is a good source of vitamins and more. Just ignore the disgusting taste of the milk because you need to be healthy....I mean enjoy the smooth creamy texture of the milk.
Now my next favorite vegan dish is of course, chicken. Chicken is SO vegan because in India they don't eat cows and just chickens and they are SO vegan. So I of course know that eating Chicken Parmesan or chicken nuggets is perfectly fine.
And of course eating any Pork products is perfectly acceptable. No one can deny Bacon, Bacon is our lord and savior. Bacon will save us all some day. Bacon, bacon, bacon, bacon, bacon, bacon, bacon, bacon, bacon.
So that is my review on Vegan eating. And if you eat any innocent animals I will find you and feed your eyes to little bunnies! Next time I'll do a review on Vegan cakes.
Well if you haven't looked at your calender you might want to do that. ;) My real next review will be on my all time favorite videogame Mass Effect, see you then.
